OUR TINY STORY
HOW IT ALL STARTED..
As a recent transplant to Portugal and Ericeira, I (Malcolm) chose to start this business with the ambition to integrate into the area’s vibrant events scene.
After leaving a job in carpentry, I set out to build the trailer from scratch. With inspiration from builders in the US, I designed it myself, sourced all the materials, and built every part of it by hand. It took longer than expected — most things do — but what came out of it is something I’m genuinely proud of.
The Tiny Tap has been operating since late 2025, serving private celebrations, corporate events, markets, and sporting events across the Lisbon and Ericeira area. The business is small by design — I run it personally, which means every event gets my full attention.

A trailer that looks like it belongs at a quality event — not a festival rig. Drinks that are actually worth having. A service the host never has to think about.
